Concept [concept]
marsie (seit 2012) ist Konzeptkunst als Soziale Plastik.
Gegründet von Simone Etter mit Marianne Papst damals als künstelinnenkollektiv marsie, ist ein Bestreben ausschliesslich mit und durch einen antiautoritären Kunstbegriff und einer transformativen, nachhaltigen Kunstproduktion zu agieren. Nachhaltig auch im Sinne von Ressourcen, Wissen und die eigenen Fähigkeiten und Möglichkeiten (mit den Rezipienten und der Nachbarschaft) synergetisch zu teilen. 

In der künstlerischen Praxis von marsie geht es insbesondere um die Förderung und Vermittlung von ephemerer Kunst im öffentlichen Raum und deren Repräsentation im Innenraum als kollektive künstlerische Praxis. Gerade diese Verbindung ist es, die transformativer Kunst eine gesellschaftspolitische Relevanz zuweist, denn so kann – vielleicht auch nur für einen Moment – innerhalb der Vertreter:innen einer pluralistischen Gesellschaft eine Gemeinschaft entstehen.

Founded by Simone Etter with Marianne Papst, out of the desire to act exclusively with and through an anti-authoritarian concept of art and transformative, sustainable art production. Sustainable also in the sense of sharing resources, knowledge and one’s own abilities and possibilities (with the recipients and the neighborhood) synergetically.
